People around the world depend on Abbott to help them live healthier and better. This starts with our innovative health technologies and products, but extends to everything we do, around the world.

Just one example: our Abbott Future Well Communities program helps local health centers break down barriers to care in communities across the country – including the University of Minnesota Community University Health Care Center, pictured above.

We work hard to drive innovation and earn trust every day, and we measure our progress in a number of ways – from reporting on our 2030 Sustainability Plan results, to assessing our performance on leading global benchmarks for innovation and corporate responsibility and sustainability.

We’re proud to share updates on few recent honors we’ve received, naming us among the leading companies having a positive impact on people and the planet:

  • Top 10 Companies for Social Responsibility: Abbott was ranked No. 10 for social responsibility and No. 41 overall on the Wall Street Journal's Management Top 250 list of the Best Managed Companies of 2024. The Management Top 250 ranking, developed by the Drucker Institute, measures corporate management effectiveness by examining performance in five areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.
  • Fortune America’s Most Innovative Companies: Abbott was once again named to Fortune’s annual list of the 300 Most Innovative Companies in America, ranking No. 9 for innovative products and technologies, and No. 26 overall. This was Abbott’s third consecutive year on the list.
  • America’s ‘Most Just’ Companies by JUST Capital and CNBC: Abbott was named No. 31 overall on the JUST 100 list by JUST Capital and CNBC. The JUST 100 is the only corporate ranking based on the priorities of the American public, including supporting workers and serving customers. This was Abbott’s fourth year on the list.
  • Dow Jones Sustainability Index for 20 Years: Abbott was named among the industry leaders on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the 20th consecutive year, demonstrating the company’s longstanding commitment to sustainable business. The DJSI (also called the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index) includes the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria as identified by S&P Global through its Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
  • Edison Awards for Health Tech Inventions: Abbott earned five 2025 Edison Best New Product Awards for innovations that are shaping the future of healthcare – including medical devices, rapid tests and consumer biowearables.

These recognitions reflect Abbott’s dedication to helping the greatest number of people today and in the years ahead – with a goal to improve the lives of 3 billion people each year by decade's end. To learn more about Abbott's approach, visit abbott.com/sustainability.
