At Abbott, our hearts and thoughts have been with families and communities affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey (Türkiye) and the surrounding region. In recent days, we've been working across our businesses to help affected employees and their families and to continue providing an uninterrupted supply of our healthcare products.

We've also been working closely with our longstanding relief partner organizations to respond quickly with targeted aid to help families and communities. We're committing to provide $1.5 million in grants and product donations to help meet urgent needs.

In any crisis, it's critical to work with organizations who have on-the-ground expertise and capabilities to quickly help those who need it most. We're working with our established aid partners who are providing urgent aid in affected areas:

• CARE is delivering essentials supplies like water, sanitation and hygiene materials, tents, blankets, food, cash assistance and other emergency items.
  
  
• Direct Relief is distributing emergency medicines and medical supplies including antibiotics, chronic disease medications for high blood pressure, diabetes and asthma, prenatal vitamins, diagnostic and surgical equipment, wound care dressings and PPE to relief partners on the ground.
  
  
• International Medical Corps is supporting their country teams in providing medicines and medical supplies such as antibiotics and trauma-related supplies to health facilities throughout the affected areas.
