Rick Feller has more than three decades of experience successfully delivering innovative products to global markets in the medical device industry. In his role as Divisional Vice President of Global Product Development for Abbott’s Vascular business, Rick is leading the organization’s R&D team to develop the next generation of innovative Vascular devices.
Before joining Abbott, Rick served as Chief Operations Officer at Recor Medical, where he led the development and commercial introduction of a breakthrough ultrasound therapy for hypertension. Prior to Recor, Rick held a variety of senior leadership and executive positions at Wright Medical Upper Extremities, where he was Vice President of R&D and Clinical Affairs; Medtronic, where he was Vice President of R&D for Peripheral Vascular; and Johnson & Johnson, where he was R&D Director of self-expanding stents, filters, and advanced research and development.
Rick holds a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Polymeric Materials, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering, both from the University of Florida.
