OVERVIEW

In Rwanda, more than 80 percent of the population lives in rural areas where access to primary healthcare has lagged urban centers. To help address the gap, the Ministry of Health, the Society for Family Health Rwanda and Abbott are collaborating on an innovative shared value pilot program to establish second-generation health posts to bring quality healthcare closer to rural communities.
